The Amazing Spider-Man 2 cancelled on Xbox One

Activision has removed the Xbox One version of its movie tie-in from its website and admitted that the game may never be released.
In a strange turn of events the Xbox One version of the game was pulled from the official website and even removed from a group shot of all the other versions, which includes the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, PlayStation 4, PC, and 3DS.
No reason has been given for the apparent cancellation, with Activision offering only the following explanation to trade paper MCV:
‘We want to inform you that we are revising our release plans for ASM2 on Xbox One. When and whether ASM2 is released on Xbox One is TBD.’
Considering the Xbox 360 version is still going ahead, and will be released on May 2 the same as all the others, a problem with licensing doesn’t seem to be the issue.
The next best guess is that Activision developer Beenox has had trouble getting the Xbox One version up to scratch.
Many multiformat games have looked worse on the Xbox One compared to the PlayStation 4, although usually only in terms of a lower resolution and relatively minor graphical issues.
Given the short half-life of movie tie-in games Activsion wouldn’t have taken the choice lightly, but there is some hope the game will be eventually released as the first Amazing Spider-Man game came out on PS Vita a full five months later than the other versions, and nine months later on the Wii U.

Não foi a versão de WiiU que foi cancelada...
