Após o anúncio divulgado pela Sony Computer Entertainment e pelo recém-formado estúdio Kojima Productions na manhã de 16/12/2015, de que Hideo Kojima está oficialmente fora da Konami e desenvolvendo um game, surgem as primeiras informações sobre o novo projeto: Ao que parece, o game inédito de Kojima terá versão para PC e PS4.

Segundo um comunicado divulgado pela Sony, o game da Kojima Productions chegará primeiro ao PS4 e será lançado depois para PC. O jogo será publicado pela Sony, o que deve impedir o lançamento em outras plataformas concorrentes, como Xbox One ou Wii U.

Saíram imagens dele brincando com a tecnologia de captura de movimento da Naughty Dog.

To achando estranho esse jogo sair para PC com a Sony bancando tanto. Deve sair um bom tempo depois.

Na pratica, nao é muito diferente da console exclusivity de Dead Rising 3, sf5, ryse...

Na pratica, nao é muito diferente da console exclusivity de Dead Rising 3, sf5, ryse...

É qe não sei o envolvimento da Microsoft com Ryse e derivados.... mas ainda nesse caso, Windows é dela, ela ganha nos 2.

Esse do Kojima a Sony parece estar ajudando na produção financeiramente, tanto que tem as imagens no estudio da ND.... ai me pergunto até onde isso é bom pra Sony. Mas pra isso a gente teria que saber como é o contrato e qual o papel real da empresa na parada.

Hideo Kojima has said those who enjoy action games such as The Division and Uncharted will be able to play his new title “smoothly.”

Speaking in an interview with Famitsu, via Hachima, Kojima said his new triple-A title is an “amazing game” and contains “some parts which are very new.”

“I won’t say that it’s an open-world title, but those that enjoy playing today’s AAA titles such as The Division and Uncharted will be able to play it smoothly,” he said. “Some parts are very new, so I’ll need to experiment with it.

“When it gets announced some may think that it’s not as way-out as they had expected, but I’m sure they’ll understand once they play it.”

Kojima said he’s brainstorming the character, game system and plot “equally” and is pleased Sony trusted him with such a big concept.

He went on to say the publisher is providing him the freedom to create what he wants, and was trusting enough not to require a “Hollywood type” presentation beforehand.

At present, his company Kojima Productions has a temporary office and a website set up, along with part of the company logo. There are plans to create a full bodied image.

“I can’t say [more about it] yet, but the secret is found in the logo,” said Kojima. “The whole body [of the logo] actually looks super cool, and we’re planning on making it into a figure.”

In late 2015, it was announced Kojima had sighed a deal with Sony to develop a PlayStation 4 title after his employment contract with Konami expired.

Hideo Kojima has given a few snippets of information about what his first game since leaving Konami will be.

In an interview with Famitsu, via Hachima with a translation from Siliconera, Kojima says "I won't say that it's an open-world title, but those that enjoy playing today's AAA titles such as The Division and Uncharted will be able to play it smoothly."

"When it gets announced, some may think that it's not as way-out as they had expected, but I'm sure they'll understand once they play it. The genre is action."

Kojima was also very cagey about the logo of his new studio, Kojima Productions. "I can't say yet, but the secret is found in the logo." IGN spoke to Kojima at DICE this year, and he explained why he hopes to keep the new studio small.

The Metal Gear Solid creator was also asked about VR. Kojima has expressed interest in VR previously, and says he'd "like to make something for it, but we don't have anyone. I believe VR holds a key to game development."
